Through the Keyhole is a song based on a paper I read and loved, Being and Nothingness, by Jean-Paul Sartre.

It's a commentary on how we're expected to behave, or who we're supposed to be, and how, for the vocalist, the defining line between who he is and who he's supposed to be has blurred and he's now locked into what is expected by loosing himself in the process even in his own home.

He looks through keyholes into the private lives of others, who remain free to be themselves in their own rooms/homes, to be able to function. lol the video of the woman picking her nose looks likes she is pulling her brain out one strand at a time.

The paper, Being and Nothingness, is an intense read, but for me it was so poetic I have never forgotten it.
